MotorCity and FanDuel Casino have revealed a new partnership move that will make two of the state’s hallmark sports teams official gaming partners of the recently introduced sports betting franchises.
And so, two of Michigan’s best casinos, Motor City Casino in Detriot and FanDuel Michigan online casino, are becoming the official betting sponsors of the MLB Detroit Tigers and NHL Detriot Red Wings.
The move will ensure that FanDuel Sportsbook is noticeably featured on digital and static signage at both Little Caesars Arena and Comerica Park. The sportsbook will be featured on dasher boards and the outfield wall. It will also be presented on the Red Wings and Detroit Tigers radio networks that usually reach fans throughout Michigan.
Mike Raffensperger, CMO of FanDuel Group, asserted that the company was particularly excited to partner with two of the country’s most celebrated sports franchises.
In his statement, he said that FanDuel will offer a $25 welcome bonus for all Detroit Tigers and Red Wings fans. To be eligible for this bonus, fans are required to use the “DETROIT” code after registering for a new FanDuel Sportsbook account.
FanDuel described its collaboration with the Tigers and Red Wings as an integral aspect of a “continued strategy” that would align with MLB teams in sports markers that offer mobile gaming.
Besides being a top-ranked MLB authorized gaming operator, FanDuel asserts that it is also allied to the National Hockey League as its official betting partner. The Red Wings and the Tigers also worked with MotorCity Casino as marketing partners.
